Thought of the day: School was off. Jasmine had two play dates and Lila had a friend sleeping over. In addition, we hiked in the morning, did gymnastics in the afternoon and ate out in the evening. Amidst the whirlwind of activities, I had the most vivid memories of the happiness of Lila on the hiking trail and of the excitement of Lila and her friend when they chased after bubbles on our front lawn after dinner. I was not able to put together a quiet schedule as I would have liked to, but at least we were able to slow down and enjoy a few quiet and peaceful moments during the day.
